Jen Brister is a born comedian she regularly tours the UK and takes part in the Edinburgh Fringe festival each year. Originally Jen wanted to be an actress but realised she was always being drawn back to stand up and so made the decision to focus on it solely. She says that there a lots of great female comics out there but you only have to look at the panels on TV to see that it’s guys who get the most support. Here’s to no-one ever asking “are women funny” again!
